The Blue/Orange morality thing made me realize that I gotta go fix something in my series that might imply an implicit bias on accident (a bias that I don't have, but people might read it like that) so thanks for that lol
And I think the Smiling, Tortured Souls one is definitely the best, IMHO. I feel like a lot of us tend to stuff our feelings behind an "I'm fine" front, so it feels the most relatable to me.
(Also I really wanna play Guilty Gear sometime. IDK, you mentioned it, so it reminded me lol.)
Oh, okay. I wouldn't let it worry you too much, tho. If it's to the point that people might think it's a bias, but you don't actually feel that way yourself, that might actually be good writing.
And yeah, I can't remember what comedian it was said that the loudest jokesters and the class clown types tend to be the saddest people inside, as they just want other people to find happiness in their own lives. That really stuck with me.
And Guilty Gear is pretty fun. Faust is 100% the best character, but Goldlewis Dickinson is a close second.
@The Yobanashi Girouette, I think that the whole plot point/worldbuilding concept I put in was for the plot, not to convey some message (because my world has a different type of history when it comes to a specific... how do I phrase this? Career, let's say.) But I still want to make sure I don't make it all black-and-white.
And yep, that's probably true. Class clowns can be annoying on the surface, but I definitely feel like they struggle with some bad stuff at home.
Also, cool! I think the only GG characters I've heard of are Faust (right now, lol) and some other girl named Bridget? Idk much about her tho, but she's the one with a blue hoodie and yo-yo or something.
And yeah, I think Bridget's one of the newest-released characters. Goldlewis is great, he's the US's Secretary of defense, and he carries around a big ol' box that holds his alien friend that he TOTALLY didn't bring from Area 51. It's a running gag that the aliens in GG seem to exist for the sole purpose of mildly inconveniencing Goldlewis, like abducting anyone he beats the second he looks away :P

Yeah, absolutely.

Also, that Goldweis sounds amazing right off the bat lmao. But I hope the poor guy gets to defeat an enemy without them being abducted, lol
