That is actually how society is. If a woman dates 10 men in a year, she is bad. If a man dates 10 women in 2 months, he is cool. Society has been ruled by patriarchy for a very long time, it used to be worse. Fathers used to give their daughters to future husbands as if they were property. She would become Mrs. Smith to everyone, no first name, no individual identity. 

But fathers say that to their daughters because well, they care. He probably hates the fact that you are growing up and he is forced to just...accept that. It's something that happens because he cares.👍It's easier with sons because let's be honest, the world is still dangerous for women.
