Shaving makes your hair grow back darker. Some places you should shave, yes. But we're not hairless chimps for a reason... FYI men's leg hair is a whole different kind of leg hair to women's. Anyone comparing the 2 has never seen a man's furry leg up close and personal (yes fur, that can no longer be classified as hair).
The weight thing might be more of a problem when you get closer to 30 (really gotta pay attention then, harder to lose 😭). Figure out what weight / figure you're comfortable with.
I was a skeleton from high school until I hit 24. Found one of my jeans from college a few days ago... Let's just say I'm no longer able to fit into small...at all...😭😭😭
Your loved ones will always have an opinion on your looks. They'll never be satisfied. Maybe a reflection of their own insecurities at your age.
Only 4 people really love you, (your parents, your significant other, and you). Only your opinion truly matters. Find and love you, you're young!
hmmmm I never knew that. I agree with the hairless chimp stuff though!
If I'm being honest it's gotten to a point where I'm never happy with how much I weigh. I feel like if I get skinner I'm not going to be happy but if I gain more weight I'm not gonna be happy either.
I've never thaught of it like that maybe?
Hmm so at the moment three people or well four? I like to think I have three parents. I think I'd like to work on the way i look a bit before I'll actually like myself.
@Mira, Have fun finding the things you like! Be comfortable with the raw, bland, natural you. Anything else on that is just an expression of your love and comfort with self.
No worries, I have 3 sets of grandparents. Some people do feel closer than others sometimes.
Yes, a good story I wish was widely told to kids growing up.
Screw shaving. Why worry so often about plucking off every hair on our bodies? And it actually is healthy for you, given that it protects germs from getting in (shaving it also increases the risk of ingrown hair, as well as makes you susceptible to infection — yes, I googled this) If people wanna shave on their own will then yes, it’s fine, but there’s nothing wrong with not doing it. Humans are animals. We’re hairy. That’s natural. That’s fine.
I’m pretty sure I also get wayyy too many comments about being skinny, so we’re in the same boat. During every family gathering, at least one person points out me being skinny. Like… could you be any more annoying?
Don’t be sorry! But yes screw shaving! I actually knew that fact for once, its srupid how its a fucking fact and people still prefer having no hair to just having something that is NATURAL! If it was on our bodies from the start it’s probably there for a reason! Oh yes the family gatherings…we are in the same boat for people commenting. My lovley grandfather used to compare his weight to mine (it wasn’t exact theres also like a really big age difference). Or when it comes to food someone goes “oh you need to put more salad so you stay that way” it very very annoying. Why can’t people understand that if your healthy it doesn’t matter how you look?
bruh i shave like once in a blue moon nowadays. if it's natural why the hell are we shaving it off? you can fucking braid my dads leg hair. for aesthetics i'd do it if I feel like it lol

Sorry, I know I rambled; just had a lot to say.
