And personally, I love the differences in the perspectives of love when it came to the two characters. Something I was hoping to achieve in my other story Amori.
Also, the three words motif was SO SMOOTH HERE. Dear lord.
I really have to commend you on how you handled the character, Rick. Most stories would end up just focusing on the two characters and would need the third wheel to act in the plot when needed. Rick was also developing bit by bit in this and the fact that he is self-aware and reveled in being a third wheel makes it all better.
When I first read the first half of this story for this chapter, I thought, "Uh oh, Nova pretty much broke Puck's heart...and it was heartless for what she said." But then as you read on, you kinda understand from where she's coming from and why she said that. Not only did it made Puck realise but it made me see things in a different perspective and I love, love the part where she said that her love isn't hearts and roses but an explosion on a moonless night. (\*o*/) I definitely felt the emotions that these characters were pouring out and I did shed some tears as well *sniffles a little bit* And then for the other half of the story, things were all good and they focused on Nova's project AND they were all having so much fun that you can't help but to feel the joy as well. You had me on an emotional roller coaster, alright. Kudos for executing such a chapter! ^_^
