I loved this chapter! It was so devastating but filled with suspense. Can't wait to discover the truth. there is nothing better than a small disaster to begin the grand conflict :)

The culture of the Clans is certainly one that I would never like to live under. The Clansmen are far too rough and far too restrained by their traditions for me.

I might be a little inspired by the Vikings....I'm glad its coming across that way though! I wanted it to be brutal. I was nervous it wasn't rough enough.
