When a boy likes you, you know. He makes it obvious, he initiates contact, he is curious about you, he wants to go out with you because he wants to spend time with you. He remembers what you like, what you dislike, your hobbies, etc. He puts effort in getting to know you.

When a boy doesn't like you in a romantic way, you get anxious because it's all very confusing. He doesn't contact you as much, sometimes not in a week. You feel drained because it makes you overthink everything, every little detail.

It's all really simple like that. But if you believe there is a chance that he is interested in you and he is an idiot, just take the initiative and ask him out. You will have your answer. That way you won't waste your time on nothing.

Wow, that actually makes a lot of sense 🤔 my crush literally makes eye contact all the time, or comes reallyyyy close to me, or asks personal questions. But hes also just generally a kind person. What does that mean???

@SouthernSquid, do not confuse being kind with being flirty. When a guy is interested he will try to touch you in little ways, sometimes not so little lol, and he will make certain jokes that he doesn't make with everybody. They do some gestures sometimes that take you by surprise but that doesn't have to mean something. The best way to know for sure is to be flirty and see how he reacts. Or play a game, like I've never and say something like I've never had a crush on someone from our group. But that is a way for when you are in school :)) when you are in your 30s, you just ask, believe me. You have no time to waste with little games.

@SouthernSquid, that's fine 😂 it comes with experience. You'll see what works and what doesn't. Be you, as usually, but try touching his back or arms sometimes like when you laugh, you brush your hand lightly on his arm. Or he says something funny and you nudge him playfully. Be playful, that's something good. When you make eye contact, smile (but not in a creepy way). It's alright to suck at flirting, it's something that you learn like any other skill.

And don't hang onto him. Bw confident in yourself, love yourself, appreciate yourself. If you lile yourself, it will show to the others too. 👍

I was just thinking about this the other day. I was reading an article on actual things someone does if theyre interested based on their actions. Prolonged eye contact, personal questions, messing with hair or clothes when youre around, wanting to be close to you, are some of them. Seems like mike has it bad for you 😉
