先敘述惟恩對艾孚的感情，用蒙太奇的方式將資訊打散在各段內容裡面，中間揭開額外資訊時有一些小驚喜，整體來說會感到一些作者的實驗性在其中。惟恩的第一人稱敘事能感覺到角色的性格，意識流的處理也不會有突兀的感覺，讀起來沒有太多負擔。氛圍整體偏俏皮跟胡鬧，但不會給人正戲份量因此減少的感覺，該給讀者吃的肉還是沒有少。對話部分特別出色，敘事跟對話的穿插節奏很穩定，節奏沒有太大幅度改變是讀起來非常輕鬆的主因。
