His ‘collection’ is humans. He uses them in experiments ans keeps them in suspended animation tanks, barely alive.
His kiss sucks the life from people… ummm… because he’s a magically gifted king, gifted with this at birth. Think of it like the Snow Queen from the original fairytale, but not really.
He knew MC’s name ‘cause he’s king. He has resources!
I’ll probably continue the story from his perspective at some point.

1. This collection of his. Obviously he's collecting **insert detail here** but why? What''s the purpose to it?
2. How is he sucking the life out of folks? It kinda makes me think of him as a vampire or demon of sorts?
3. How'd he know MCs name? Was he lurking? Is he creepin' outside people's windows?
It can be a bit tricky to craft a story in 1000< words but perhaps this is something that can be elaborated on if continued.
