This definately opened my eyes. I live in the US and I couldn't fathom killing a dog, but that is primarily because of my upbringing and experiences. I've never been faced with any of the situations which you've stated. I hope that this issue will be absolved soon in your hometown.

Thanks you very much for the reply, RAGROOK. I did imagine you would react that way while I was writing the article. It is indeed weird. But it is true,sadly. Recently, however, my government has begun either to shelter or get rid of these paraiah dogs. It is being solved bit by bit. Salam
