The part where Largemouth stands his ground and makes eye contact with Kraken right before pulling those grenades absolutely WRECKED me. That silent nod said everything words never could. The loyalty, the sacrifice, the sheer weight of that moment had me holding my breath. This kind of storytelling is so rare and I am completely obsessed. :)))

In the choking gray of the marshland fog, Kraken moves forward with his MK18 raised, NVGs glowing faint blue, while beside him Anglerfish halts mid-step, his long rifle braced against a tree, head tilted as if listening to something only he can hear; behind them, the mist swallows the forest whole, trees reduced to crooked silhouettes, the ground slick with moss and stagnant water that reflects just enough light to make the silence feel alive.
