You see. This doesn't make any sense to me because he is clearly able to fight back. There was absolutely no reason to sever any tether of hope for Lira when there was such a high chance of survival.
Thats pretty good. But for something like this you wanna establish that what would happen to her if he didnt kill her would be worse. Like torture or slavery or rape or whatever. But after he kills her he just easily overpowers the threat and gets to walk out.
