Holy macaroon with caramel icing! I-I don't even have words to describe this. It's like if you took the MCU and made it better somehow. This is just so fantastic I can't even figure out how to respond. Should I be happy, sad, angry, afraid, I just dont know. Im feeling all of this and more. If the contest maker will allow you, you should totally expand on this and make it a full fledged thing not just a contest entry.
@Lamington , I feel like this is exactly what im looking for in an MCU movie or just a random book i pick up. Also, this may have not been your intention, but i feel a sort of double entendre here, what with the actual hero dying, and then the kind of hero of the story (which i like that you didn't name them or really give them any identifiers) also died a little inside psychologically and emotionally with Beacon's death. It was a really interesting read. I just have too many compliments to give it! I cant do it all in onenor even two posts.

@Lamington , i bet they will. You are a fantastic writer, and i can shamelessly admit that i am one of those people who are a notoriously picky reader. But still you managed to captivate me and persuade me into loving your work. Truly the pinnacle of perfection. The mastery of magnificence, the belle of the ball, the wonder of the world, the spell of the spectacular. There is not one author i know that i love the work of more than i love your work.
