Interesting read. I came at this with the knowledge that you enjoy Studio Ghibli films (me too). That really helped to paint the image for me. I actually got a lot of "Spirited Away" vibes from the beginning of this. I'll say that I felt Ruby's responses felt a bit too accepting of the bizarre nature of the "people" riding the bus, but overall I still rather enjoyed this. Great job!

You got me there 😂 I'm a sucker for Ghibli and used Spirited Away as my guide as what I wanted to do with this one.

Ruby was a bit too accepting with the issue but with the story she slowly becomes one of them as Exhaustion, so she doesn't have the energy to fight back towards the end.
