I think, as long as everyone is respectful, what else can you do. I really hope you're respectful about this stuff? Do you understand why arguments about this could be really hurtful and make people upset? I think you do. I hope you do.

I don't know much about American politics so i won't comment on that. I have different views than you on pretty much everything else you said. I'm not going to try and convince you of my views though, because I know it doesn't work like that; I would not be able to be convinced.

I had to say something though in case a stranger stumbles across this who has a different view to you, doesn't see that there's another side and feels alone in it. Does that make sense? I guess it doesn't matter.

So, I agree that fighting is a terrible idea. I don't want that. I'm not going to guilt you for what you believe is true, but there are a lot of people who think the same things as you and they choose to guilt those who disagree? I'm not accusing you of that, but... I just need that stranger scrolling through this random site to be aware that it's ok to be them. And I also need you to be aware that not everyone has handled this as nicely you have.

I agree with almost everything you said except for the trump part. No one is completely good, or completely bad. Humans range in that from one to the other.
