Thank you! I had originally submitted it to a magazine that was having an issue with ‘rest’ as the theme, but after they rejected it, I figured why not publish it online myself? I’m glad you liked it - I read over your world of drummers and found it thought-provoking, although it’s not the kind of poetry I often read.
