Great book, i like the suspense and the slight notion that this time hell is on the good side. But I think that Cassie would make a better character if she wasn't one of those characters who keep their mouth shut even if their family is killed. You should make it so that she's about to confess before Sebastian comes in. Other than that, this book is ready for the Nobel prize.

I'm glad you like it! Cassie is (or was) in fact a very honest character. Her decision is one of many subtle ways she is being influenced by the Book, which should become more obvious in the next chapter. This is why the decision probably seems odd or out-of-character - it's meant to! Well done for noticing it, and thank you so much for commenting! :)

@Knut, happy to comment, its what i do. If you'd like some feedback to make your book the best it can be, don't be afraid to add me as a beta reader. I'll give you an honest opinion.

@booksarecool21, Thanks! I've actually already found a couple of beta readers on another site, so I'm not looking for more right now - as you can see, I changed the work to solo just a few hours ago (not sure if it's come up or not yet), but again, thanks so much for the feedback, and I hope you enjoy the story. I'll definitely let you know if I need another beta reader. :) -Knut
