For those who are not familiar with National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), it is a yearly creative writing project that challenges writers around the globe to write 50,000 words (the minimum words for a novel) in 30 days during the month of November. Camp NaNoWriMo is a shorter version of NaNoWriMo where writers choose their own word count.

With a supportive community of aspiring writers and readers, we are pleased to host our first Camp NaNoWriMo on Penana!

If you take part in Penana's Camp NaNoWriMo this year, you will receive a "Camp NaNoWriMo Apr 2016 Participant" badge. If your novel reached 10,000 words or above, you will earn a "Camp NaNoWriMo Apr 2016 Winner" badge!
