Many boring days have passed in this hospital, and sometimes i even wanted to go to ...school. I didn't necessarily love school, but i knew it was necessary. Not since, i lost Aiden...I have hated school since then. My grades have been slipping, and things just seem to be going down hill.
A sudden knock on my hospital door woke me from another morning slumber. "Knock knock~" I knew that dreaded voice anywhere, and yet, somehow it wasn't that bad. The door opened, and i saw Lucas caring a bag, another bag, and some other things. "I brought things for you, Kat~"
"Uhnn..." Rubbing my eyes, i had to make sure this was real, that i wasn't still asleep. Seeing Lucas was both a nightmare, and a dream at the same time. Right now, i would call it a dram, mostly because I've been so bored here; at this point, even Lucas will do.
"Oh, sorry, were you sleeping?" Hoisting my body up in bed, i sat up rubbing my eyes with a slight yawn, stretching my arms. "No, no...I've been awake for hours, please, come right on in~" It was most definitely meant to be sarcasm, but he took it so seriously. He smiled in reply and did exactly what i said to do, but not do.
"I brought you school work so you won't be behind, some food-" "Did you bring sweets?!" He was staring blankly for a few seconds, completely caught off guard by my sudden outburst. But soon enough, he nodded yes handing me a bag. It was like looking at heaven, i have missed candy and sweets for the longest.
"It's been weeks since i've had sweets, they wouldn't allow me to eat it~"
A sudden burst of laughter made my look turn annoyed. I turned to look at Lucas laughing tears in his eyes. "What? What's so funny?!" "Your more soft then you let yourself presume to be,hahaha." "...yeah yeah, whatever."
He didn't know when to quit, and it would cost him. "I mean, you try to act tough, but your so soft on the inside." "...i get it, you can stop now..." "I mean, like, you really need to quit it with this act, like who do you think your fo--"
"I said shut up already, dumbass!" I was so annoyed, that i unconsciously punched him in his face. He fell back onto the ground, and after a few seconds my emotions seemed to settle. "...owww...shit."
