As humans we crave normality and comfort. That is why the truth is so hard for us to speak and to hear. None wish to know the truth about a painful world. A much darker reality than the one they live in. Our fantasies eliminated by one dark truth. We'd rather fool ourselves into believing pretty lies than let our comfort zone be penetrated. Is there anything more cruel than the truth? What can be more blissful than sweet ignorance? Nothing. For in our hearts, ignorance is bliss. Blindness is the only way to protect our paper like hearts.
