Chapter 2
The Arrival
As me and Jake pulled in I got shivers but just assumed that it was that cold cause it is Winter. The reception desk was really run down but it could just be the look of the camp site... I hope. Jake told me to wait in the car so he could book us in. The camp site was surrounded by many trees that could lead to any where, and in front was just a dirt road going down to who knows where. I was just staring into the woods and saw something shiny I looked at it trying to see what it was, than it disappeared. I was sitting there trying to find it. Than a large man started to walk in from the bush. Than he stopped looked at me and started to run. I didn't know what was going on. Then Jake came back and the man wasn't there any more. "Is every thing all good?" Jake asked me with a worried look. " Yes I'm fine, so where's our site?" I asked. He pointed on the map with our spot circled, all the way up the hill right near a mountain. We drove there not seeing that many other people only about 5-6 others. I have never been camping before and yes I'm 18 years old so I just assumed that this is normal. We hoped out of the car and took a little look around. Than we got straight into getting set up. I was setting up the tent adding the bed and cute touches until I looked out to the trees. I saw a white figure, I looked really hard at what it was. I could figure it out so I called Jake over and by the time Jake came over it was no longer there. We put the fire on and cooked dinner. We went to bed in our tent. It was around 3am when I heard a sound. Foot steps, I started to shake in fear so I woke up Jake.
