The video footage was shown and I saw a man in tattered clothes as if he was mauled by a bear , he was covered in blood and his eyes were white moreover he was randomly grabbing then biting people tearing out their skin. A lot of screams where heard from the background and I saw the police shot the crazed individual in his leg. The latter fell down but immediately stood back up , the police fired another shot in the opposite leg but the man still kept on coming, the police pulled the trigger again but this time in the head and the man finally went down for good.
Upon seeing the footage I was sweating bullets, the disbelief overwhelming my senses from what I had just seen. My thoughts were in chaos and I was filled with deep anxiety from the brutality now etched in my mind.
The footage had ended and it was switched back to the news anchor, I could tell they looked unnerved and shaken just like how I was feeling at the moment but of course it didn't show on their face because they have to keep their composure upholding their professionalism above all else.

So I tried to calm him down in which he did after a moment, I raised my head on the upper shelf and set my sight of a more normal looking bass that was just next to the tacky one. I reached for it but sadly I sometimes forget that I lack the centimeters for an average person's height on a different note the idiot next to me definitely had a towering a height of 6'2 ft., I struggled a bit trying to reach for the instrument because I didn't want to ask him for help since my ego wouldn't allow it but I eventually gave up and decided to ask him, I turned on my heel and faced him but before I could utter a single syllable he leaned against me already grabbing the bass with his long reach, our faces inches away from each other, my eyes meeting his. Strangely for some reason when I looked straight into his beautiful cerulean eyes it pissed me off. Anyway his face began to change into a bright-ish red color whilst making a repeated soft heaving escaping his lips, it was hard to make it out with his shadow looming over me but it's still noticeable. I'm starting to think that there's something wrong with him maybe I should say something.

"Huff...Huff...Huff" I panted heavily trying to catch my breath after that exhilarating performance.
"Thank you very much" I bowed infront of the audience my voice a bit shaky.
What followed was a loud cheering coming from them indicating that they really enjoyed our show. I felt so happy with their cheers that my exhaustion was worth it. My companion walked beside me and handed me a bottled water to drink, I immediately uncapped the bottle and straight up chugged it down empty. I thanked the two men who allowed us the opportunity then we head out of the mall, called a cab and finally arrived back to my apartment. We were on the sidewalk at the moment because I still needed to give him my contact.
"Hey take out your phone" I demanded and he did what I asked. I took mine out and bump it with his. Our phones chimed at the same time signifying a successful sync in other words he received my contact info.
"So uhhm I'll be on my way now" He sounded so awkward when he said it . As he turned around and walked away, It occured to me that there was one more thing I had to give him.
"Hey wait up" I yelled enough for him to hear me. He stopped in his tracks and looked back
"Huh? Shiro? Did you need anything?" He asked looking a bit puzzled
"No, but I have something to give to you, here you go" I handed him the ticket for the CAC
"This is..." he stopped mid sentence and I answered him
"Yes, it's the ticket for the festival. You said you would come right?"
He didn't say anything but only grasped my hand that was holding the ticket scratching the back of his head looking away in the other direction. I didn't know why he's like this but i find it very cute, if I look closely though I can't see face his ears nonetheless were bright red. I guess he's really happy with the ticket enough for him to blush.He shifted his head my way, his cerulean eyes meeting mine as his mouth motioned to open.
"Thank you Shiro" His manly voice bearing a subtle mellow tone overflowing with so much gratitude. It was so surprising for me that a simple thank you could move me this much so I felt obliged to answer in a level to match his.
"You're welcome" Giving him the most innocent grin I could muster.
From there we parted ways, I waved goodbye as he got in the taxi and drove away while I went inside my apartment and crashed in my bed getting a good long rest for the night.

SOMEWHERE AROUND SHIRO'S NEIGHBORHOOD
"Stay back! I'm warning you!!" I yelled towards this pers-..no this something coming at me, my body trembling in fear by their gruesome appearance. Half of its face was gone and it's eye dangling from its socket. They don't seem to understand me any attempt of communication won't get through to them and when I try to communicate with it they only growl and snarl like its the only thing they ever do and they just kept on limping towards my direction. Right now I'm in a narrow alleyway cornered between a wired mesh fence and them, I was tired from all the running I did just to get away from this abomination but somehow they managed to follow me despite their slow pace. I had thought I lost them yet they still found me and here we are having a standoff.
I took out my swiss knife that I always carry with me in case I needed to protect myself and in this circumstance was the perfect time where it's put to use. I steeled myself and sprinted towards them as I was holding my knife with both hands lunging forward stabbing their chest where their heart is located
"...grrrr...graaaah ....raaah"
They howled in that incorrigible voice as if they were in pain. I pulled out the swiss knife that I planted on their chest and stabbed them in the same location repeating the same action over and over. They were no longer moving, I had just killed a person.. no that's wrong they weren't a person anymore haha that's right! even if it weren't the case I only did it in self-defense!
My clothes were a mess from the blood that splattered on me just like how my mind is in the same state. I get up and stood still guilt eating away at me. Let's... just go home and forget everything, there's no one here and nobody will know. It's okay it's okay I'm safe nobody will find out.
I took a step then another and kept on walking in daze hoping that this is all just a nightmare. Further and further I walked when suddenly all my hair stand on end. I didn't want to look back, the thought frightens me to my core, but some unknown force compelled me to do so, the moment I turned around I was already screaming!
"S..save ...m-meee"
The only words I spoke on my dying breath. Drowning in my own voice as my consciousness was flitting in and out. Ah I'm dying, so this is how I die huh? What a.... shitty way to go, there was nothing I could do but cry my heart out, I don't want to die.Everything then had faded to black.
