Click, click.

Sometimes I really hate the sound of cameras flashing. Cameras take pictures that hold memories, but I want to forget everything. I can never seem to forget though. My memories haunt me till this day not even letting me push them aside.

"That's a wrap for today guys, thank you for all your hard work," my manager called out, pulling me out of my spiralling stream of thoughts. He doesn't have to tell me twice, might as well have some kind of fun after that long, tiring day.

Don't get me wrong, I love my job as a musician. I get to do what I love and express myself while getting paid.  My manager, Marco, is also a good guy and mostly lets me do what I want; it's just sometimes I want to get away from it all. Hands in my pockets, I trudge away from the bustling of everyone else. who are too caught up with wrapping up to notice me slip off.

Walking down the almost barren street I stop in front of an arcade. It was a rundown building with a huge retro sign that read 'The Royal Arcade' in bold colourful letters. Might as well try to have fun here. Maybe spending a few dimes will lift my spirits.
