When writing your story, its helpful to have meaning behind names. Like if you have a magical item and it grants good fortune. The name of the item could be, "bonus fortuna" meaning, "good fortune" in Latin. Not only does it sound good, but it has an underlying meaning. Same with names of people. If you name someone, you could pick names for the characters that foreshadow they're outcome in the end or that describe their character. Like is you had a character named Victoria. She could be a hero in the end. Or a character named Liam. Liam means "Strong-willed warrior and protector." He could be a very protective friend who fights for those he loves.
