My path I plod,

This lane of snow,

Not knowing

Where it will go.

Along this

Black on white

Road I walk,

Heading in spite

Of the fear

To the unknown.

Viewing the eerie

Track, I trample on,

Unable to see

Past the nearest trees,

How their

Forthcoming limbs

Are scarier

Than those covered

By the white

Fog barrier.
