Zara
"Hello bitch!" my captor's voice says to my ear and I feel my heart drop.
"Not so tough now, huh? Thought you could bitch talk to me and get away with it? I asked nicely and you refused," he says and turns me, pinning me against the wall with his hips and his right hand on my throat, "now I'm going to take it." He brings his face dangerously close to mine and I panic.
"No, please don't do this-" I begin but he cuts me off.
"Save the begging for when I start, the things I plan to do to you." He smiles evilly and the reality of the situation finally kicks in. I draw in a breath, ready to scream for help but he must have caught on because he bangs my head on the door and I whimper in pain before he slams his palm over my mouth, silencing me.
"Try that again, and I will not go easy on you as I initially planned." I look at him with pleading eyes, tears running down my checks and onto his hands and he smiles, pleased, before sticking out his tongue and licking the tears on my right cheek. I scream out, the voice muffled by his palm, and thrash against him but his grip on me was impossible to break from.
He takes out a handkerchief with his other hand and brings it up to my face. I shake my head vigorously only managing to anger him some more. He bangs my head again, this time harder knocking awareness out of me. He takes advantage of my moment of weakness and quickly ties it on my mouth before circling me with his hands and carrying me towards the bed.
I feel myself edging in and out of consciousness, feeling a warm trickle down the back of my neck from the two blows. I curse the hotel owners for having used quality wood on the doors and will myself to stay intact with my body.
Stay awake! You need to stay awake Zara!
I am thrown onto the mattress, my body bouncing form the impact before he straddles me and ties my hands with bed sheets, securing it on a poster of the headboard. Black dots swarm my vision and he stands back, dragging his gaze hungrily over my body and smiling wickedly.
"Don't die on me now, I have a night of fun planned for us." He walks into the adjoined bathroom and comes back with some water on his cupped hands, splashing it over my face.
"There now." I blink rapidly, the pounding of my heart following the rhythm. I try to scream but it comes out as a groan and he settles his body between my legs. His hands are along my ribcage and he brings them up to my boobs, cupping and squeezing them roughly.
"Mmmmhh!" he moans into my ear. "I knew they were real the moment I saw them. A nice rack that is not plastic. How lucky I am!" I thrash, pushing myself up and trying to move from underneath him. I only manage to rub on him, and I recoil when he presses onto me.
"Eager that much?" He asks and grinds into me and I choke on a sob. With all my strength, I knee him on his ribcage and he doubles over, snapping his rage filled eyes towards me. I try it again and he catches both my feet in a death grip as I struggle wildly to make him let go.
My skirt is now bunched up around my waist and I thank God that I had the mind to put on a petticoat this morning.
"I'm done playing nice." He takes hold of my blouse and rips it off me settling his knees on either side of my body before sitting on me. He grabs one breast through the bra and gives it a rough squeeze, before going for the other.
"You do not know how much I love these." He drops his head to my chest, using his weight to cage me. I use my tongue to push his handkerchief out of my mouth and leave it on top of my mouth. My struggle made it loosen up and I use my hands to push my body downwards. The handkerchief settles below my nose giving me enough room to scream for help.
And I do just that.
"Somebody, help me!" I scream from the top of my lungs and his head whips up face wild with fury. He slaps me across the face, hard and I scream harder.
"Shut up you bitch!" he says bringing his hand over my mouth, but this time I do not make the mistake of closing it. I bite him, hard, and he curses before taking it away from my mouth. Not wasting the opportunity, I scream some more hoping to capture someone's attention.
"Please, somebody help me!" he slaps me again, only earning another scream. I slip my leg from underneath him and kick him in the stomach, catching him off guard. His gaze settles on me; his eyes covered in fury.
"That does it bitch! You've brought this on yourself." He hastily unbuckles his belt and reaches for my petticoat.
"No!" I shout. "Please, please." I scream again, all but ready to give in.
Please God. Don't let him hurt me.
We hear a bang on the door and he stills. The bang comes again and I cry out, relieved someone heard me. The door bursts open and I feel his weight off me, followed by a loud thud.
A suited man approaches me and uses the sheets to cover me before working on my binds.
"Thank you." I say once he is done, sitting up and massaging my wrists. He nods once and walks off.
I wrap the sheets around myself, willing the tears to end but they just keep coming. I look at the man, he is currently on floor as whoever who helped me beat the lights out of him. The man slams his body into the wall and turns to me, chest heaving from the fight, his white shirt bloodied up and the floodgates opened up.
"Miss Kyle?"
I look away from him and the man who undid my binds comes back and helps me get on my feet.
"Are you okay?" Mr. Carter asks looking at me with concern. I nod, clutching the sheets tightly around me.
"Go take a shower in my suite while we deal with this."
"Thank you." I say, my throat sore from screaming. I walk out and the suited maned follows me after some hushed words with him. His suite is directly above the room. He must have heard my screams.
I scrub myself hard, especially around my neck and boobs, tears streaming down my face. I rinse myself then scrub some more. If only the memories could be washed away.
I stop after my skin turns red from the scrubbing. I walk out tying a fluffy white robe around me and slipping on the hotel's fluffy slippers. I look at myself in the mirror, eyes puffy and red and purple bruises forming on either side of my face with a busted lip. At least I look better than I feel.
I walk out to find Mr. Carter leaning against the wall and his eyes snap to me.
"There's a doctor here to examine you." I give a single nod and he lets in a middle-aged lady who walks over and checks my vitals.
"These will help with the swelling, and these are painkillers. Follow the prescription and make sure you finish the medication." She packs her things and stops by Mr. Carter.
"She will be okay. She's a little shaken up but good rest might help her."
"Thank you, Doctor. Duncan will show you out." They shake hands and she leaves.
"I asked the front desk to call your emergency contact, she should be here any minute now, let's head down." He says and I wordlessly pick up my clothes that have been folded into a bag and walk out into the elevator with him close on my heels.
I walk into a lobby full of men in black suits, with the drunk guy against the wall opposite the front desk. One of them walks towards us and pulls him aside. I step away, giving them space and avoiding the drunk man's direction.
"Zara!" Callie bursts through the hotel doors and rushes over to my side after spotting me. She envelops me in her familiar embrace and tears well in my eyes.
"Oh girl! I heard what happened. Are you hurt? Look at your face. Are you okay?" She steps back, inspecting me and I nod through hazy eyes.
"I'm fine, I was helped before things got far."
"I'm sorry. Don't cry, I'm here. What did they do to him? He needs to be put in his place, that filthy scum! I should have been there to give him a piece of my mind." She says and my eyes involuntarily go the bruised man before they come back to hers. She notices the little exchange and that's when she finally notices him along with the bodyguards who are there.
"Huh, so you're the filthy scum who thought he can have his way with my best friend." She says slowly and reaches into her Gucci bag. She takes out her phone and hands it to me before zipping it and walking towards him slowly, like a predator stalking its prey.
His eyes widen in fear from her murderous expression and he pushes himself backwards, the wall not giving him the chance to escape.
"I'm sure you're used to having your way with things and getting away with them." She leans down and whispers, voice laced with venom, "Too bad you chose to mess with the wrong girl."
She grips her bag tightly and brings it down on the man's face hitting him squarely on his jaw. Not giving him space to recover, she hits him again and again and the man begins shouting.
"I'm sorry! Please! Please. I regret my actions, have mercy. Please stop!"
"I'm sure she begged you," hit "Begged you not to hurt her," hit "Begged you to stop!" hit "but did you listen?" she stops and leans in waiting for his answer. "No, you did not!" she hits him again and he whimpers.
"You did not listen to her pleas you piece of shit. In fact, I'm sure if no one intervened you would have had your way with her." A few more blows.
"Do you know how it could have affected her?" she is now shouting in his face,
"Of course you don't know you aargh!" she growls out in frustration and hits him furiously.
"I'm sorry, please stop! I've learnt my lesson, I swear I won't do it again, ever! Please spare me." He wails from the ground and she hits him some more before stopping.
"Mark my face!" she huffs getting her hair out of her face, "Mark it as well as I have marked yours because if I ever see your amphibian like face again, I'll gauge your eyes out with my Prada heels, don't test me." She straightens her designer clothes before walking towards me and slinging her arm in mine, dragging me out of the hotel, but not before sending a death glare his way.
The drive home was silent. Callie's eyes kept checking on me throughout the ride. We arrive at my flat and I go straight to my room, changing into actual clothes.
"I brought wine." Callie says from the doorway holding up a bottle of wine and two glasses.
"Your neighbour, that guy who's hitting on me, name starts with a C, was it Cedrick or Colin? Whatever. He thinks I came over for another girl's night and look what he gave me. You can't say no to this." She opens and fills the glasses, handing one to me.
"Want to talk about it?" I nod and take a deep breath before getting into details, holding back tears as I recall the ordeal. She holds me when I break down, whispering words of assurance.
"Don't worry love, you are safe and that's what matters."
"I was so scared," I sniffle. "What if they didn't hear me or didn't bother like the people on that floor?"
"They heard you and came to help you, I'm so glad you're okay."
I don't even remember how I slept, but my sleep was plagued with visions of hands all over my body, my throat sore from screaming and my eyes desolate, devoid of any feeling or fight.
