CHAPTER 26 - Late Night Intruders
26-1 Tono, Densus 88 Member
Burhan glared at Anton, the masked man he had defeated. His back leaned against the wall. His hands were cuffed. His head hung low in despair.
Burhan scanned the entire room. He shook his head several times.
Burhan: "Ruined..! Ruined..!"
Burhan’s inner voice.
The living room looked wrecked. The glass table shattered. Chairs were out of place. Window glass was broken here and there.
Shards of glass scattered on the floor.
Burhan grabbed his phone, immediately calling Tono.
Burhan: "Hello, Tono. Can you come to my house right now?"
Tono: "What is it this time, Burhan?"
Burhan’s face looked upset.
Burhan: "There’s an intruder. I’ve taken him down."
On the other end, Tono was shocked.
Tono: "An intruder?"
Burhan: "That’s right, Tono!"
Tono shook his head several times.
Tono: "Did you cuff the intruder?"
Burhan: "Already, Tono. You just need to arrest him."
Tono chuckled.
Burhan: "This intruder is connected to Kembang Setaman Disco."
Tono: "Kembang Setaman Disco?"
Burhan: "Yes."
Tono: "Have you interrogated him?"
Burhan: "Yes. I already interrogated him."
Tono fell silent for a moment, then spoke firmly.
Tono: "Kembang Setaman Disco is under investigation."
Burhan nodded several times.
Burhan: "According to police intel, Kembang Setaman Disco is the center of illegal transactions."
Tono: "You’re right, Burhan."
Tono shifted the phone to his other ear.
Tono: "Alright, Burhan. I’ll head there with the team."
Burhan: "Alright, Tono. I’ll be waiting."
Burhan hung up the phone.

26-2 Nagini Defeats the Twin Elders
Burhan sat on a torn sofa. In front of him, Anton leaned his back against the wall. His hands were cuffed.
The living room floor was full of shattered glass.
Burhan: "Kembang Setaman Disco?"
Burhan muttered.
Not long after, Burhan’s phone rang again.
He glanced at the screen. The name Nagini appeared. He quickly picked it up.
Burhan: "Hello, Nagini."
Although she came from the 16th century, Nagini quickly adapted to the modern era. Including modern technology like cell phones.
Nagini: "Hello, Burhan."
Burhan: "What is it, Nagini?"
Nagini: "Do you remember the twin elders you almost hit with your car?"
Burhan: "Yes, I remember! Why?"
Nagini: "Those twin elders attacked me."
Burhan was shocked.
Burhan: "Oh, really? Are you alright, Nagini?"
Nagini held the phone to her ear. With her other hand, she twirled the tip of her hair.
Nagini: "Yes."
Burhan: "I already suspected those twins had bad intentions toward you."
Nagini: "You know, Burhan?"
Burhan: "What?"
Nagini: "Those twins were pretty strong!"
Burhan was surprised, his eyes glancing at Anton who sat cuffed.
Burhan: "And then?"
Nagini: "I managed to defeat them."
Burhan wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Nagini: "Do you know who those twins are?"
Burhan frowned.
Burhan: "Why?"
Nagini: "They are underlings of Kembang Setaman Disco."

26-3 Burhan Defeats Anton
Burhan was still sitting on the torn sofa. The phone was still at his ear. Anton sat helpless, his hands cuffed.
Burhan: "I was also attacked by an intruder who broke into my house."
This time it was Nagini who was surprised.
Nagini: "Are you alright, Burhan?"
Burhan nodded, glaring at Anton.
Burhan: "Yes. I also managed to take him down. Tono is on his way here."
Nagini: "Tono, the one who always comes late?"
Nagini smiled on the other end.
Burhan: "Yes, Tono — the Densus 88 member who always comes late."
Nagini: "You mean, Tono who just shows up and slaps on the cuffs?"
Burhan gave a small smile.
Burhan: "Even though we’re the ones who actually deal with the criminals, right?"
They both laughed heartily.
Nagini: "Burhan, it’s getting late. Let’s continue this talk tomorrow."
Burhan nodded.
Burhan: "Alright, Nagini. Till tomorrow."
Burhan hung up the phone.
Moments later, Tono arrived with four other members. They were in full uniform, armed, wearing black masks and bulletproof vests.
Tono: "You really managed to subdue him, Burhan?"
Rudin: "His hands are cuffed and his face is beaten up."
Burhan nodded and smiled.
Tono: "Alright, Burhan. No need to waste time. We’ll take the suspect to headquarters for interrogation."
Burhan nodded again.
Tono signaled his men to take Anton to the patrol car parked in front of Burhan’s house.
Tono: "It’s late. You should get some rest."
Burhan: "Yes."
Tono: "And tomorrow, you’ll definitely need to clean this place up."
Burhan chuckled.
Tono: "Do you need police guards, Burhan?"
Burhan shook his head.
Burhan: "No need. I can take care of myself."
Tono smiled, then signaled the others to head to the patrol car.
Finally, Tono got into the patrol car and waved at Burhan.
Tono: "Let’s move out."
The car slowly drove away, leaving Burhan alone.
