This can honestly be a bit weird to think of as advice, but it's honestly not terrible. What you write is not set in stone anymore, and sometimes you just need to scrap everything and start over. I literally just did this with a rewrite of an old series I'm trying to do since I wasn't happy with what I was doing and realized I wasn't happy with the pacing especially. I've done this a few times with a few different WIPs across my casual writings that will never see the light of day and things I'd planned to post that just never found its stride. Just a little nod to let you know that it's okay if you feel like you just want to start something over.
