Taking off where left off last chapter, Blossom appears alone at the Townsville City Hall, facing who she considers a potential enemy…
Blossom and Now Morbucks (dw!! She will also get her own lil backstory which she’ll side with the PPG at some point) are fighting on the rooftop of a building. Blossom summons her spear and charges it up with her Pink energy powers and flew quickly at Morbucks, who deflects her attack, returning the attack with a Golden like Blade, slashing at Blossom, who flies up out the way of the front way attack. Blossom pulls a Miku Beam and laser beams are aimed at Morbuck’s Golden Mech like Legs, bringing her mechanical weapon down, but she has a trick up her sleeves hehe~.
*Back with Buttercup and Bubbles at the Utonium home*
Buttercup is still punching the punching bag, only a little angrier, while Bubbles is watching the news coverage of the fight between Blossom and Morbucks/Melody. “Hey Buttercup? Blossom seems to be fighting some red head with Golden limbs” Buttercup halts mid punch as her anger rose, her emerald green eyes lit up with fury against Blossoms decision of fighting against ‘her’ by herself, knowing she isn’t the best fighter physically, being the strategist of the team. “…she isn’t gonna be able to win that fight. She might need our help…Let’s Go Bubbles.” Buttercup and Bubbles grab their Power Spheres (the official names for their contraptions) and transforms into their hero fits, both having their signature weapons in hand to help their sister out, Little did they know they were gonna be too late to help her (dw I’m not killing Blossom off-)
*Back at City Hall*
Blossom, still going at it with Morbucks was starting to feel a little tired, but she needed to settle scores with her. “Aww…Little Blossom can’t beat me??? I thought you were better than this. Then again, you weren’t always battle ready like Buttercup…” That line always irked Blossom, always known for her strategic thinking and planning, she wasn’t the strongest fighter despite being the leader of the team. Bubbles was more of a support/healer type while Buttercup was more on the front lines and the strongest of the 3. She also doesn’t like the fact she is constantly being considered as “The Egghead” of the team, people think Buttercup is the team leader because of her strength and headstrong personality, which Buttercup doesn’t take too much pride into as they want their sisters to be seen as equals to each other despite their differences in skill and power levels. “It doesn’t matter…” Blossom Muttered under her breath as she shot pink light projectiles from her spear, Princess Morbucks flips over Blossom’s attacks. “No matter the situation, my sisters and I are equals no matter the power set.” A determined face appears on Morbucks as she launched a ginormous missile at Blossom, which she dodges but ends up hitting the building she is standing on, the building collapsed just as Buttercup and Bubbles arrived too late to help their sister fight “BLOSSOM!!!!” Rubble was everywhere. No one was injured…except…Blossom didn’t reappear…Morbucks had already flew off with her one working mech leg. The 2 sisters instantly look for their oldest sister in the rubble, with Buttercup quickly using her super strength to throw the broken pieces of City Hall, which then reveals a detransformed Blossom, Her left arm and right leg completely crushed by the surrounding stone and bricks, face scratched up from being punched, hair completely disheveled and messy. “SOMEONE CALL 911!!” A strangers voice cuts in the background, sounds of static Envelopes Buttercup, as she carried her unconscious sister out of the destroyed building, their outfit and hands stained in her sisters blood. “buttercup.” Shaking breaths were heard. Was she going to lose her sister? Ambulance sirens were heard through the muffled sounds of Shocked and scared crowds surrounding the panicking Buttercup. “BUTTERCUP!” Bubbles managed to snap her sister out of her trance. “Let’s…just. Go home..” Buttercups normal raspy voice shaked with fear instead of her normal aggressive and confident tone.
The news of Blossoms Hospitalization spread across the town quickly. Over the next few months, it became quiet in the town once again. But A certain Mojo Jojo was planning with Morbucks to take down the whole town. Without Blossom, Buttercup grew into a huge mess, more angry than normal, always snapping at her peers and even at her own family at times. Dr Utonium, being the concerned dad he is. Decides to have a talk with the 2. “So….with Blossom out of commission..I don’t think it’s smart to keep using your powers out in public places.” This revelation surprised both Buttercup and Bubbles, but it angered Buttercup because this means they aren’t able to protect people during the daytime or something similar to what happened with Blossom (who is currently in a coma) or worse….die.
What will happen now they have to go incognito for the time being? Will Blossom wake up from her deep sleep? Can Buttercup be able to control her overblown anger and fear/anxiety of losing her sisters??? Find out in the next chapter!!!
