Mary ran up to Naomi her eyes roaming over her figure "Who gave you this rubbish material?" Mary snatched the material from Naomis waist.

Mary grabbed a hold of Naomi's right hand. Naomi was glad that her mother hadn't grabbed her injured wrist. She allowed herself be dragged to Mr Reagan. Dane followed slowly behind them. Mary deposited Naomi infront of Mr Reagan. Mr Reagan took a step towards her, closing the distance between them. He tucked a finger under chin and raised her head. She retreated from his touch "Where did you go?" Mr Reagan inquired. Naomi remained silent as her heart raced "I'm asking you a question. Answer me right now"

"He didn't ask you!" Naomi exclaimed turning her anger towards Dane
"Do not raise your voice in my presence!" Mr Reagan exclaimed. Mr Reagan turned to Joseph and Mary with a malignant glare "I give you thousands of lumens to attain your daughter but still you allow her wander off with little boys"

Mr reagan smiled a sinister smile as he gazed at naomi. "In the beginning I had thought that I should give you sometime to ease into the idea of marrying me. However, your disrespect makes me think otherwise you're already frolicking with these young boys. Even after i had warned them to stay away from my soon to be wife they don't pay heed to my warnings. I have decided to move our wedding to the day after tomorrow and there is nothing you or anyone wll say that will make me change my mind."
Naomi remained silent, words failing her as her emotions clogged her throat. "Did you threaten James johnson. did you tell him to stay away from me."

"I'm leaving you like this because we're not married yet, but by the time we get married I'm going to tame you. I will not tolerate this ill-mannered behaviour from you."
"Whatever" Naomi muttered. "Can I go now?"
"Yes you can go" he raised his hand, waving it dismissively.
Naomi turned to leave but a thought clawed at her heart. She halted and turned around. Mr Reagans brow rose questioningly "I know that I have no say in this marriage and whether I like it or not I'll become your wife. But... I just want you to promise me something"
Mr Reagan hummed softly, leaning back in his chair "Anything you ask of me I'll do"
"Please don't hurt James. He is nothing but a friend. I promise you there is nothing going on between us"
