Naomi chuckled humourlessly as tears dropped down her face, she fought to hold them back "You knew we were together!" She exclaimed, an outburst of emotions coming at one pace.
"You never liked him, you told me that yourself"
"I never said that, Anastasia. All I said was that I was afraid of giving my heart to him. I never said I didn't like him"
"How was I supposed to know the difference. He came for me, he told me that he didn't want you and that you two were over. I couldn't resist him."
"Anastasia, you're supposed to be my best friend. You were the last person that I thought would do something like this to me. You should have told me, instead of allowing me to rot in my ignorance!" She yelled.
"Well I'm sorry. Naomi. Trust me from the bottom of my heart. I wish I had stayed back. I wish I had left him for you. I'm sorry"
Naomi closed her eyes and took a deep breath, her heart raced at an unexplainable pace. She wanted to slap Anastasia in the face for this betrayal but that wouldn't solve anything and James was the one to blame for all of this not Anastasia. Naomi wiped away the tears from her eyes, Anastasia needed her and she wouldn't destroy a relationship just because of some man.
Naomi doubted her friendship with Anastasia would last. But she didn't want to end it in a bad note either way.
Naomi leaned over to Anastasia and took her hands in hers. "Don't worry, it's ok." Naomi shrugged, as much as it hurt she knew that holding on to the past would hurt more "I forgive you. Don't worry it's not that big of a deal." Naomi wiped away the tears from Anastasias eyes "Stop crying Anastasia. It's okay really"
"You...you really forgive me?"
Naomi nodded with a soft smile "Yeah. I do"
Anastasia shook her head vigorously "I don't know if I can forgive myself Naomi. I can never"
"Hey. Stop it. Anastasia it's not that big of a deal. It's all over, you don't have to worry. It's not the end of the world"
"It's the end of my world!" Anastasia exclaimed "I gave it to him, Naomi. I gave it all to him."
Naomi was confused at Anastasias words, her brows furrowed "What do you mean? What did you give to him"
"Everything Naomi. I give my heart, my love, my world, my everything"
Naomi sighed, shaking her head "Sooner or later you need to get over him. Just move on Anastasia. It's going to hurt you more if you keep on dwelling on the mistakes you've made"
Anastasia shook her head, snickering with tears in her eyes "You don't understand. You're listening to me but you're not understanding me"
Naomi huffed as she ran a hand over her forehead; tired and confused, slowly becoming impatient as time was running out, her mother would start to wander where she had gone. "Help me understand Anastasia."
"He took it away from me. The thing that makes me a woman, The gift I was supposed to award to my husband on our wedding night. I gave it to him. He grabbed it with open arms. It's gone and I can never ever get it back."
Anastasias eyes widened as her jaw dropped "No! I... You... You wouldn't do that."
"I gave it all to him Naomi" Anastasia smiled, tears poured down her cheeks "My body. My virginity"
Naomi shook her head, "Anastasia please tell me you're lying. I'm begging you"
"I gave him my body. Not once"
"Anastasia stop. I know you're lying. Please tell me you're lying"
"Not twice"
"No" Naomi whispered, shaking her head in disappointment
"Not thrice Naomi" Anastasia sobbed "Not even four times!"
"Anastasia!" Naomi exclaimed
"Countless times, Naomi Countless, countless times" she shook her head, throwing her face in her palms "I'm so ashamed of myself. I feel dirty. I feel rotten from the inside out"
"Why would you do that Anastasia?! Why? Do you know what will happen if your parents find out? If the community finds out?"
"He lured me into it. I was stupid. I was blind. Blinded by a false type of love. He said he loved me. He said he'll marry me, I fell for it, I fell for him. I don't know how but I did"

Please don't think about death. Don't ever think of taking your life. Don't say that again. Ever. Or I swear Ill slap some sense into you. We'll find a way out of this."
Naomi wrapped Anastasia in her arms placing kisses all over her faces
"It's going to be ok" Naomi whispered
Silence enveloped the air, it was as if the whole world stood still witnessing these two young woman on the ground, embracing each other as if they didn't want to let go.
A calming serenity filled the air, as Naomi allowed herself breath wholeheartedly. As much as the betrayal still stung, she knew Anastasia needed her more than ever. Naomi held tighter rocking Anastasia back and forth "Its going to be ok" Naomi reassured her
Anastasia's sobbing quieted down and Naomi ribbed circles around her back "Naomi?" Anastasia called out softly.
Naomi murmured "yes" in response
"Is it bad that I lost my virginity to James"
Naomi sighed, "Yes it is" she said softly "But like I said, it isn't the end of the world. You'll get through this. Don't worry"
Anastasia nodded softly "There's something else"
Naomi froze, her eyes fluttered open as her mouth quivered "W-What?" Her voice shook, afraid of the answer that might come "What else is there?"
Anastasia unwrapped herself from Naomi's arms and sat arms length away, she gazed into Naomi's eyes, tears shimmering in her orbs.
Naomi watched silently as Anastasia slowly and reluctantly laid a hand on her tummy. "His seed is growing in me."
