The pieces clink to the ground

Familiar shattering sounds fill the air

The brutal pain of losing blood overwhelming

The fear of never coming back together

But the thing is

My heart is delicate

Like a thin glass

Held together by elastic strings

It breaks

It hurts

Its shattered again

But i pick up one piece and pull

And slowly

With determination

The strings bring my pieces together

Im slowly pouring glue

All over the whole glass heart again

And the strings all come together

To wrap up my broken heart

With a pretty little bow
